USAFacts Data MCP

Access multiple government datasets across federal agencies in one convenient AI-ready location via the USAFacts Data MCP, now in beta. We are kicking off with economic datasets and will be expanding to other domains; ask the MCP itself to find out what new data is available.

USAFacts publishes data from 20+ U.S. government sources — BLS, Census, CDC, FEC, Treasury, USASpending, and others — as a live MCP server.

Any AI client that supports MCP can connect directly and query that data without scraping, without managing API keys across dozens of agencies, and without building your own data pipeline.

We're actively expanding coverage across federal, state, and local sources and across domains.

The server is in active beta. It's free to connect. There are currently no SLAs or structured support but we are excited to hear from you! If there's a specific dataset you need or something that isn't working as expected, use the form below.

Connecting your MCP client

Point your MCP client at the endpoint above. The server uses standard MCP over HTTP. No API key or token is required.

One ask

It helps us understand how the server is being used if your AI client identifies itself when it connects. Most MCP client libraries let you set a name field during initialization:
