College enrollment rate

College enrollment rate

This is the percentage of recent high school completers who were enrolled in a two-year or four-year college as of October of the school year. Note that dates are labeled by the end of the school year — for example, data for 2020 reflects the enrollment rate for the fall of the 2019-2020 school year. Recent high school completers include people aged 16 to 24 who graduated high school or completed a GED within the past year.

There was a 61.80% college enrollment rate in 2022, a decrease of 0.92% from 2021.
