What is a O-3 visa?
6.04K
The O-3 visa is designated for the dependents, including spouses and unmarried children under 21, of O-1 and O-2 visa holders. This visa allows these family members to accompany the primary visa holder to the United States, enabling them to live together during the duration of the O-1 or O-2 visa holder's stay. However, O-3 visa holders are not permitted to work in the United States under this visa category.
The length of stay for an O-3 visa is directly tied to the duration of the primary O-1 or O-2 visa holder's authorized stay. Extensions are possible as long as the primary visa holder maintains their status and continues to meet the visa requirements.
The State Department does not maintain a cap on O-3 visas.
