Worldwide Labor Force

The number of people in the labor force is a direct contributor to worldwide production. Ignoring varied employment, productivity and other forces that contribute to overall productivity, comparing the magnitude of a nations labor force can help approximate the productive capacity of a country. In 2019, the worldwide labor force was estimated at 3.46 billion individuals. China’s had the largest labor force at 788M, followed by India at 495M and the United States at 167M. Russia had a labor force of 72.7M and the Ukraine had 20.2M members.
