On Tuesday July 16th, USAFacts went to Washington DC to discuss facts on Capitol Hill.

Our Founder, Steve Ballmer, held five meetings throughout the day with around 200 members of Congress, including Democrats and Republicans from both the House and Senate.

These bipartisan and bicameral meetings focused on the numbers behind taxes, government spending, outcomes in areas including health, education, security, sustainability, demographic shifts, and what life looks like for taxpayers across different income groups and family types.

The deep, data-driven conversations resulted in discussions among lawmakers about trends, potential improvements to government data, and insightful questions that USAFacts is working to answer.
